The 1st Annual Empty Bowls Naples Inc Grant Recipients were honored on June 7, 2018


Grantee: Collier Child Care Resources, Inc.
Program Name: Child’s Path Child Development Center and Little Wonders Child Development Center
Funds will be used to offset the cost to provide high-quality, nutritious meals to children as a critical component to their early childhood development needs in an effort to give each child the best chance for a healthy, prosperous future.

Grantee: Meals of Hope
Program: Meals of Hope Truck Distribution Program
Funds will be used to expand the current Meals of Hope Truck Distribution program to increase distribution to an additional 300 families per week. They plan to open additional pantries in East Naples and Immokalee. With the grant funding they will be able to purchase frozen meat and fresh produce, which is a rarity for much of the food insecure population.

Program: Harry Chapin Food Pantry
Funds will be used to purchase fresh produce to supplement and balance the pantry’s food distribution.

Grantee: Naples Senior Center at JFCS
Program: Naples Senior Center at JFCS Food Pantry
Funds will be used to purchase additional food to supplement the food pantry to meet the continuously increasing demand for food.

Grantee: Community Cooperative, Inc.
Program: Emergency Food Programs
Funds will support costs of food, supplies, and other resources for emergency food programs to meet increased demand experienced after expanding mobile food pantries and assisting with hurricane recovery.
